Eroge is being in focus by the Japanese media
As many probably already know, Rapelay was making a lot of commotion with the western world, and Illusion had shrugged it off. But now Yomiuri has picked up on the news and NHK and FujiTV have been featuring the case on TV, and suddenly the entire eroge industry seems at risk now.
Illusion has now removed Rapelay from their website, probably in response to the attention from Japanese media, and Sofmap has reportedly told buyers that Rapelay is now out of production.
Hopefully that is enough to put the fire out, but if the media continues to attack and dig up on eroge they’ll find stuff like assemblage’s old games and we might see some new magical regulations coming soon… Maybe somebody famous will get pissed drunk and go naked in a park, that would help pull all the attention away!
