The original Dragonball tankoubon got redesigned
Jump had already released the “kanzenban” version of Dragonball some years ago, but apparently with the new HD rerun of Dragonball Z they’ve decided to reprint the original Dragonball tankoubon with a new cover design and logo (shown above on the right).
This new version has the same ISBN number as the original Dragonball tankoubon so it basically replaces the old version which will probably only exist in old bookstores now.

Poor design, the illustration AND title is smaller, don’t really see the point. But I wonder what the spine looks like.

the cover design look like done by non artist or poor editor. must be some stupid manager asking for new cover because they think it need a new face, when it is not necessary.
