Konami is putting a lot of effort into Love Plus, Konami was even sending emails to game retailers requesting for their support by ordering more stock for their retail stores.

However a blog run by a game store says that Amazon is currently offering pre-orders for Love Plus at 26% off, which is significantly cheaper than what it is costing their own game store to get the games at, and they’re getting the games direct from Konami too (as opposed to getting it through a distributor), and because of this they’re even considering canceling all orders with Konami and to just buy their stock from Amazon since it’s cheaper.

Messe Sanoh also previously complained about Amazon selling pre-orders at below-cost prices. Vesperia PS3 pre-orders were 22% off too on Amazon, the game stores in Japan are having it really tough.

The Geneon website has announced that a Fate/Stay Night movie is currently in the works, no other information is available yet.

I usually feel that Nakamura’s art is totally awesome no matter what he does, but I’m strangely not feeling that this time.

Nanoha movie will come 2010 January. Two types of drama CDs for people that buy advance tickets to the movie.

Mahou Shoujo Nanoha A’s PORTABLE – The battle of aces - will be published on the PSP by Bandai Namco games and will be released 21st January 2010. Wild Arms creator Kaneko Akifumi is involved. The game will be developed by Witchcraft which is a relatively new development house that started only last year but Silky Lip creator Endou Shoujirou is part of their staff.

Edit: Total cast is 9 characters + extras. Also Kaneko is apparently leading Witchcraft, I guess that means no more Wild Arms series.

Hello Kitty goods featuring art from OKAMA, POP and Kuroboshi Kouhaku are going to be sold in the industry section at the coming Comic Market. Being sold at the industry section means they are all official products with the Sanrio copyright mark on them.

Their comiket special set includes a cellphone cleaner (Kuroboshi Kouhaku ver.), a mini towel (OKAMA ver.), clear files by Kuroboshi Kouhaku and POP, and a hand towel (POP ver.) for only 2000 yen.

T-shirts and tote bags featuring art from the three artists mentioned will also be sold at the event.

Sanrio has lost their mind and we’re all doomed.

After you complete all the guild quests and get all the titles in the game in Agarest Zero, you get the wonderful trophy of HIKIKOMORI.

The multiplayer function on Love Plus explained
Up to 3 players, each player’s “girlfriend” will get together and they’ll start to talk among themselves about their relationship issues or how good their boyfriend is etc. Also it is impossible to break up with the girl though there may be fights, and they don’t age with time.

Nasu Kinoko says everybody should read Kemonogari

Azuma Kiyohiko reports on his blog that work on Azumanga has pretty much ended finally and he talks about how they have not switched to working digitally yet.

He talks about how when he wants to change the eyes of a character, he’ll have to use white correction ink to color it over and draw on top of it. Then if he feels that the mouth needs to be corrected too, he’ll have to erase it with the same method. Then when he starts finding more and more spots that he wants to change, the whole panel becomes filled with white correction ink. Which had actually happened.

At times like this he entirely cuts out the parts of the pages that he wants to change, and transplants a piece of paper cut in the same size onto the original page. Then he draws on the newly planted piece of paper.

He says it’s a lot of trouble and he thinks it should be about time he used a digital method for the finishing for the manga.

Wait a minute, he said on the Kannagi radio that he was fired, and now he’s saying he left Kyoto animation on his own will. I don’t know what to believe anymore.
