Alicesoft has announced that development of Rance 8 is now stopped and put on hold and they’re doing a remake of Rance 2 instead.
Game DL site BGameBox has announced that they’ll be removing the rape and “training” (training to be a slave etc) categories from their site as according to the instructions from the ratings organization. But according to their mail magazine they’re now calling the rape category the “Platinum category” (japanese pun) and the “Training” category will now be called “Thoroughbred”.
However they also add a note saying that games in these categories may one day still disappear from the site without warning.
A highschool kid has been arrested for stealing a manga that came with a DVD, which is suspected to be ToLoveru. At a sensitive time like this I hope this won’t become a repeat of the Saori incident.

The cover girls in Rance1 and 2 weren’t even in the actual game.
And Rance8 isn’t even the helman arc yet, I guess the series will take awhile to finish at this rate. Oh well, more Rance is always good.

Damn, I like that cover art. Nice hips and thighs, not too busty. Too bad artists nowadays only draw one of two things, loli (ugh) and girls with breasts that are hugely disproportional to their body type. That picture, though, is a great example of a good middle ground. Mmmm.
