Amazon is killing game stores (PS3 slim edition)
Game shop reports that they only make a profit of 700 yen (US$7) per console
Amazon is selling preorders for PS3 slims at 5% off which means a 1,499 yen (US$15) discount
Another game shop says they’ll decrease the number of units they’re shipping into their store and will just order from Amazon to sell in their shop
Amazon Japan really is out to kill. I wonder what Japan’s game stores will be like in 3 years time if Amazon continues what they’re doing now.
