ToLoveru manga is ending

So yeah, ToLoveru will be ending somewhere around the next few issues of Jump. There should be at least one other manga that will be getting cut soon too, and it seems Medaka Box is one of the likely candidates because it’s apparently going to be at the bottom of the rankings for Jump vol.40. I kinda liked Medaka.

ToLoveru confirmed to end on Jump vol.40. Doesn’t seem to have anything else being cut, I’m surprised that both Akaboshi and Medaka have managed to survive this season.

A shame to see Nishio’s first manga flunk like that so soon. Admittedly, it wasn’t as good as his light novel material, but still… I just hope he gets another chance later.

Thank god… toLoveru has been dragging for a long while and I wondered when we would get any ending or resolution…
Quite saddened at the thought of Medeka Box going though, as I had some high hopes for that one.. but I guess it happens…

I like the artwork of Medaka Box… but yeah, the story has been lacking and hasn’t helped boost its popularity. Each chapter is too conclusive, and even when there’s a short story arc, it lacks the suspense to grab the readers’ attentions.
But I hope it will continue with another publisher if it gets thrown out, because I think it deserves more time (moar Shiranui~).

Now that Yabuki is probably out of job, I hope he’d start drawing porn or started work in seinen comics.
He has all the talent but none of the balls probably(he’d be churning out Yami/ Mikan/Yui/Lun/Riko doujinshis already if he did, Shueisha connections or not. Just look at Hagiwara.)

About time To-Love Ru ended. I’d miss Medaka Box for its interesting characters, but the story hasn’t gone anywhere with a near Mary Sue character as a protagonist.

Man, Medaka Box has seriously been going nowhere. I hope it gets cut because it’s just not as shounen/ridiculous/interesting as good Jump manga can be.

To-Love-ru, from what I’ve read in the latest manga. Seems to be ending, so it might be actually true, but Medaka Box getting cut-off?
What the hell!?!?!? I do hope that’s not true. They still need to have some sort of character development or somthing

Shouldn’t the title of this post say “ToLoveru manga might be ending,” not “ToLoveru manga is ending”? Even the *anonymous 2ch poster* you’re quoting as evidence is not stating as a definite fact what you’re stating here.

Due to the nature of the source, when he says that it means it’ll end, not that it “might” end. I assumed that anybody that knows Japanese probably can find out themselves how to interpret what he says, sorry about that.

If that were true, EizHb38XPU wouldn’t have posted a second time to “confirm” it. The poster is pretty good about stating what is certain, and not stating something as a fact when it is still uncertain.

toloveru is ending for the moment there is it will be continued later the mangaka has been having real life problems like custody of his 3 year old daughter and can’t keep up with a weekly manga but spoilers for the ending supposedly say to be continued

I usually read naruto and bleach for their action/power and then read To-love-ru as a light hearted way to balance it off with humor and ecchi.
TO-love-ru is still one of the greatest harem/ecchi type manga out there, it still has a huge fan base so i can’t understand why they would end it so suddenly. Author dude i think we are on the same boat, i started reading it for the ecchi but continued reading it because of the story/humor/character development. I read heaps of ecchi manga but don’t usually read right through to the end because usually they just can’t compare with to-love-ru’s awesomeness. One of my friends said that when he found out that they were ending it, he actually shouted noooooooooooo so loudly that the neighbors can rushing thinking that something had happened to him HAHAHAHA. he has been totally depressed ever since (not joking) he doesn’t stop talking about how much he wants to kill the shonen jump executives (not joking). He has totally boycotted the authors of the manga for ending it. Though i am not as extreme i can kind of understand his outrage. Hope this is just a publicity stunt or something like that. It would be unbelievably great if it could come back.

Sadness… this is a great manga with great drawings, I hope that the mangaka will write the part 2 in the future.
I don’t like this strange ending but I read on internet that the mangaka wants to write the end of this story because Haruna resemble him his wife and they broke up. In this part of the story the harem ending is the only one possible because Lala, Haruna, Run, Yui, Momo and Celine are all in love with Rito… (and Nene, Mikan and Yami are also interested in him)
I don’ like Haruna, in all early champters I cheer for Lala but in the last chapters both Yui and Yami are also great alternatives.
