Negima movie announced in Shounen Magazine
The Negima movie has been announced in Shounen Magazine as previously mentioned by Akamatsu on his diary. The movie will start in 2011. The same ad also announces at the same time that preorders for the first OAD had exceeded 70,000.
The announcement doesn’t explicitly use the “movie” word strangely, though it’s not the kind of wording that would be used for TV anime or OAD. I wonder if they’re not 100% sure yet if they can get it on theaters since the project seemingly only started several weeks ago.

As long as it isn’t the shit we’ve seen in every other Akamatsu manga to anime adaptions, I will be satisfied.

I’m hoping it’s the main manga final.
(though Negima, being the next Gundam, means that Neo has yet to end, and some new iteration may turn up udner a different author, for years to come, etc. etc)
But yeah: if it’s the manga final…. I think it’ll be good.
Plus, it’s 2011, so I bet they’re taking their time to make it decent enough.
