Famitsu has announced that the PS3 Slim has sold a total of 150,252 units from the 3rd of September to the 6th of September, making the past week the highest that the PS3 has ever sold in a week ever since the launch of the PS3 on 11th November 2006.

Looks like the quiet turnout for the PS3 Slim launch was because everybody already preordered it or ordered it from Amazon who is killing all game stores anyway!
