Nice to see the designers still have their heads in the uncanny valley…

    Creeps me out.

  3. Fat Cat Lim Says:

Miku-robo looks a little chubby in the cheeks.

  4. who Says:

    She (it) wants my dick.

That’s actually one of the scariest things I’ve ever seen…

    Creeeeepy!

  7. Runi Says:

Impressive, but kinda creepy too! I think it’s because I expect an anime Miku?

  8. 2D 2D Love Says:

    2D Miku Forever!!!

  9. Non-e Says:

This reminds me of the Stargazer video… Wonder if I can steal it?

    3D Pig disgusting!

  11. anonymouse Says:

I’m terribly sorry, but I have no interest in anything outside of 2D.

  12. anonymouse Says:

They need to try a little harder if they really do plan to make women obsolete.

  13. Anonymous Says:

maybe they should stick to anime style instead of realistic style…

I find it pretty stupid and a tremendous waste of resources to research in this area. There won’t be any useful Cyborgs without huge improvements in the AI research, however those fags waste their time on the development of silly body frames and their weak implementation into useless pseudo cyborg walking garbage.
What a silly media show, all they have shown to me is their utter desperation that forced them into coming up with something to not lose their streams of funding.
Cyborg and AI research is still only sci-fi material and we won’t see any improvents in this area for many years.

  15. anonymouse Says:

Yes, I agree. Until they successfully implement perfect hip gyration movement in robots, research in this area is practically going nowhere. Also, further research must be done on viable lubricant materials and the implementation of a proper robotic tongue.

I think it would actually be more feasible to convert people into 2D representations rather than make 3D manifestations of non-humans. Think of that latest Bruce Willis movie ‘Surrogates’. A 2D avatar of myself projected into virtual animespace having sex hentai-style with other 2D characters is probably far more doable (and fappable imho), if it weren’t for the fact that the non-anime-loving mainstream seems to look down on 2D in favor of 3D despite all the pathetic attempts made to overcome the uncanny valley.

  17. Dan Hibiki Says:

What the hell? That hardly looks real and sure as hell doesn’t look like Miku. I mean come on, there’s absolutely no resemblance other than the clothing. I dare even say it’s ugly. How much time did they spend on that head anyway?

  18. anonymouse Says:

    > How much time did they spend on that head anyway?

Probably too much time — enough to deform the cheeks to be exact.

  19. Anonymous Says:

    Pick one of the two:
    Kigurumi Miku
    Yamaha Miku

    “Neither” is not an option.

  20. Anonymous Says:

    Kigurumi Miku.

  21. Hangmen Says:

If it could beat back Skynet with its song…

  22. Anonymous Says:

    Fail…
