As long as they keep on releasing new material and the production values remain good, I don’t think any of the long-term fans will feel “exploited”. Plus there’s also the new fans entering the market all the time, hence the ports and whatnot. So I don’t really know how “exploiting” applies here… they’ll keep on making D.C. stuff as long as people want to buy it. It’s a brand.

Actually, 未来 is pronounced みく in this case, I believe.

I think Zepy used “exploiting” in a jokingly sense, but I agree with relentlessflame; if consumers like the product, they’ll keep buying it. Some people do use the term “exploiting” in these cases as if it were appropriate, but it’s just dumb.
(Another weird term, besides exploiting, that I’ve seen used seriously in this kind of context is “injustice”).

Oh, so now they’ll take the ‘exploiting’ project to another platform aside from PC and PS2… Though I’m a little surprised the first thing they announced for the platform is Girl’s Symphony…
And according to some blog, the’ve asked permission from Nintendo… And they wish to ‘exploit’ another Galge Console too…

Tough economy etc.

They’ve always went with their projects from PS2 to PC. No one should be surprised.
The reason you buy the PS2 version is because the gods won’t allow Hocchan to do an H-voice.
If you were a fan through the anime series, then you go for the console versions, if you’re a fan from the eroge games, you wait for the PC versions.

I actually used the word “exploiting” because of the joke among long time Circus fans about the famous Circus business strategy

Just pretend they are Halo/Call of Duty in Japanese.

360? Wat?

According to Jin’s blog, when he asked Matsumura Kazutoshi (the chairman of CIRCUS?): Just before, you said that you’ll release Da Capo series for PSP, is there another home console that will get it?
Matsumura answered: Yes, I (we) especially want to release it on XBOX 360. Though we haven’t decided what it will be. Ah, we’re also taking permission from Nintendo.

Boooo, I want a D.C. Sakura’s Counterattack game.

This shouldn’t be any surprising to Circus fans that they would recycle the same series over and over (look at Navel and their Shuffle series and TM with their Fate series).
The truth is, every company milks a series as long as it’s popular, profitable and the fans demand more of it. People don’t mind as long as they get some new content added in each iteration.

Well, it’s more correct to say it shouldn’t be a surprise *especially* to CIRCUS fans, who are used to the milking. ( ”)/
