Estpolis again

I always remembered Maxim as being a nice generic lead RPG character, but now he’s a nice generic… something else!

Well he was supposed to have “known the sword” his entire life. Not to mention the whole “sword under the dress” deal on that special day…

Damn, Battler looks bad-ass in biker suit. The eyes position ruins it though.

So ok, Action RPG now, only looks like you’ll have just maxim and selena to switch between.
No Guy, Alfie, or STRONGEST MAN IN THE WORLD DEKAR.
Completely unforgivable.

… what are they doing to my Lufia? What are they doing to my Childhood Memories!? T_T

Looks like will be a complete bastardisation of Lufia II… Thanks, Square-Enix.

You mean thanks, Neversoft.

Neverland.
This is rape, dry rape.

I don’t think it’s going to be that bad. The way SE usually announces games is bit by bit, showing off characters slowly a few at a time.
I think it’s a good call to obviously present the main couple + first major Sinistral first.

This looks more like how his personality is in the Japanese version. I was playing a bit of Lufia 2 in Japanese for kicks, and Maxim sounds a lot more like this new redesign than how straight laced and his hair all nicely brushed back as in the original made him seem. Also, the English translation didn’t really help either I guess.

Hey, it’s not so bad.
I believe en Square/Enix. ;)

Revisiting old franchises.
A guilty pleasure indeed.

GADES WHY ARE YOU SO SMALL

Square Enix had nothing to do with the development of this title, in fact they gave Neverland complete creative control and covered their development costs. That’s it.
Don’t blame SquareEnix for the ORIGINAL STAFF’S DECISIONS.

You’re basing this on the first time this game is covered and one promo video. Think on that for a second. Did we EVER get ALL the characters of ANY game on the first time it’s covered? No.
Maybe you shouldn’t be so quick to judge when OBVIOUSLY the previous Estpolis DS post CLEARLY states there are voices cast for characters like Tia, Artea, Dekar and Guy whom all have YET TO BE REVEALED.
By your logic I bet we can assert that Erim isn’t in the game either, can we champ?
