    Agreed the whole love life thing going on really drags the manga down. What I want to see more of is the hardships of the manga-ka that they go through not this lame and force romance that the manga has right now.

    I dont get why everyone hates the love/romance of Bakuman. I think it’s a good contrast for a series that has a lot of serious arcs. And I think it’s a good concept considering it’s such a shonen manga made by the creators of super serious works like Hello Baby and Death Note. If they can go from DN to Bakuman and have successful romances playing throughout, then I say stick with it.
    And besides, wouldn’t everyone just get bored quicker with the series if it was ONLY about their serialization problems? The romances mix it up a little, and make the manga not so “monotone” I guess is the right word.

    by the way… notice how funny that bakuman itself get the anime before the character there get it? xD (the main character saiko and tsuji wants to get their series animated, and they`re getting animeted first lolololol)

    lol. it’s funny to think about it.
    the manga itself is admirable.
    i love how they detailed the hardships and process of being a mangaka…
    their determination always motivated me.
    i think it would be interesting and fun as an anime…
    im looking forward to this!
