One Piece Strong World

From Vol. 0:

So, how was the movie?

I’ve already previously said this clearly on one of the earlier comics, but I’m a mangaka and not an animator. I can’t do animation. Even though I’m credited as the executive producer for the movie, my job is basically to make use of my authority as the original author and get people to make something that I’m satisfied with. After the movie ends, a lot of people’s names start appearing. A huge amount of names will appear. If you found the movie interesting, please clap for all these people.

There was a phrase going around among the production staff “Lets all be happy together in December!”. During the making of the movie, it’s okay to get into a fight with anyone, it’s okay to make people angry. As long as we make something good without making any compromises, the customers will definitely be happy. And when we see this, all the pain and hardship felt during production will disappear instantly.

I believe that we’ve made a movie that will bring happiness to everybody.

I give my deepest thanks to Director Sakai Munehisa, all the people that have been involved in this movie, and all the people that have come to watch this movie.

Also, this story will be Luffy’s final adventure as a 17 year old. Do keep coming to watch him.

However there are no obvious hints as to if the movie took place before or after the war or if the movie is a parallel universe or takes place somewhere in the actual story timeline.

Probably a little late with this post but yeah!
