Somebody posted on the K-on thread today on 2ch saying that he’s in the process of trying to have the Hirasawa house from K-on actually built in real life.

He has posted pictures of his floor plan and renders together with a brief estimate of the costs:

1st floor: 62.75m² x 155,000 yen per m² = 9,726,000 yen
2nd floor: 63.50m² x 155,000 yen per m² = 9,843,000 yen
3rd floor: 56.50m² x 155,000 yen per m² = 8,758,000 yen
4th floor: 6.25m² x 155,000 yen per m² = 969,000 yen

Total: 189.00 m² 29,296,000 yen (US$344,288)
Land cost: 5,000,000 ~ 10,000,000 yen (US$58,763 ~ US$117,527)

Animate online shop is now selling registration of marriage forms for Hideyoshi from Bakatest and Mafuyu from Seitokai no ichizon.

Basically the forms are already filled in by the character and you just need to write your name and details on it and you’re married! Almost.

Goes for only 7,875 yen (US$92) and comes with a bed sheet with the character printed on it so you can sleep with him/her after getting married.

There’s also a Evangelion version but that one is just a form to sign up to join the support staff for the pilot and you can’t get married.

Konami has announced that they will be holding a Love Plus special stage event at TGS on the 18th of September and during that event they’ll be having a contest where participants can show how much they love their girlfriends. (where girlfriends = Love Plus)

As for how they can show their love, Konami provides examples saying they can go on stage and shout about their love, they can show their itasha, they can show pictures of their room, they can sing, show a video, cosplay, show all the stuff they bought, or anything they can think about.

I guess news networks around the world will soon be reporting about TGS where a bunch of men went naked and hugged their DS in public while proclaiming their love.

Hirano Aya’s official site has announced that she has gotten a regular spot on an upcoming late night variety show called Pikaru no teiri. Also at the same time she doesn’t have a regular spot on any anime for the coming autumn season.

She’s going to be on Downtown DX next week too, I guess she’s ready for normal TV now!
