Otaroad blog reports that vol 8 of the Black Lagoon manga was just released and the cover strap announces a 3rd season of the anime.

A Kara no kyoukai related work is going to be released at Takeuchi’s circle in Comic Market 74. From the wording it sounds like it’s going to be a side story novel or drama CD.

Also that rumour back then that Type-moon was disqualified from having a booth at the industry section for Comiket 74 as a penalty sounds a lot more plausible since they’re releasing Fate/Zero Material in stores on the 8th of August.

I wonder how they’ll handle the Type-moon queue from a normal circle space, maybe they’ll bring in a small supply and sell out in 30 mins or something and sell through doujin shops like 07th Expansion.

And completely unrelated but I hope Nekoneko’s new game will be the 3rd sequel to Giniro.

Kataoka Tomo has announced on the Nekoneko soft official site that they are coming back again. I wonder what’s going to happen to Cotton soft now since all the Nekoneko staff are there.

Gone on a trip for 2 weeks so there (probably) won’t be any updates till I get back

Penguin Musume Heart, which has aired only on Nico nico douga so far, will be airing ep 10 on Japanese TV through TV Kanagawa on the 31st of July, together with nico nico style comments. It’ll be aired as a special for the anime music talk show @Tunes, also having a free talk corner featuring the anime creators.

They will put up a vid on the 12th of July between 1200hrs to 2400hrs to collect comments that will be used for the TV version. A practice vid has already been uploaded for people to practice before the actual vid.

He had already received a tip a few months back that Bones was getting ready to have a big announcement near the end of the year on a new Full Metal Alchemist anime that would follow the original manga. He was waiting for the right time when it was okay to post about the news but didn’t expect to get beaten to the news by another source.

No official announcement regarding the fate of “He is my master” yet. I wonder if they can at least get the current chapters out on tankoubon.

Hyoutan shoten compares their Shoujo Material sales with other books
Popular mainstream manga Tsukihime vol 6, Full Metal Alchemist vol. 19, and Negima vol. 22 were released between March and April, and in only 3 to 4 days Shoujo Material has already equalled their total sales in 3 to 4 months. This is just a report on sales in only that one particular bookstore of course.
